    <description>How about some hardware details here?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Using 'neat', adding a network card should be as simple as clicking a button, and following prompts (assuming it's of a support type).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If it isn't, then we'll need to know at the very least what kind of Network card it is.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;if you are unsure (as it's on-board, or came with the system or some such), just provide us with the model details of your PC.  Hopefully someone will be able to go from there.</description>

      <description>the problem was that the neat don't work. &lt;BR /&gt;Have a problem (may be a bug) but I have resolve my problem editing fudzu files and &lt;BR /&gt;rescaning the hardware and discorevirng new hardware !!! &lt;BR /&gt;in command (text) mode everything work !!!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thanks&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Right.. So you were probably using a Compaq Evo (or something else with an "Intel Corp.|82801BD PRO/100 VM (LOM) Ethernet Controller" or similar series NIC), and during installation, it was found but never configured, and after install it still wasn't configurable.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The steps you took however were the right ones.  I've seen this problem on a number of machiens with similar series intel onbard NIC's.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;After removing the entry, running KUDZU, you could have then used 'neat' to configure it, but it would have done basically the same thing.</description>
