network card configuration problem on ASUS A7S266-VM

Hi all,

Not able to configure the network on ASUS A7S266-VM ( AMD Athlon CPU ) machine. the Network card in onboard and description given in the manual is SiS 961B Integrated 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet With Realtek external PHY. trying to install this on Redhat 8

Any suggestions

What steps have you tried in installing this card?

Try this:

modprobe -t net *

and post the results.

At the installation time it didnt ask me for network info, so i dont know what drivers to put, this is not on intel, dont know how to proceed.

I have been facing the same problem for 2 days. Guessing that it is the PCI problem. And the following link resolved my problem.
