    <description>Hello,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Before anything, make sure that the "e100.o" module is not yet included in your Mandrake 8.1.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;To check that :&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;modprobe -a e100&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If it works, you can set it permanently by :&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;   -&amp;gt; Editing /etc/modules.conf to add (or change) the following line :&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;alias eth0 e100&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;   -&amp;gt; Typing the following command in order to rebuild the module dependency graph :&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;depmod -a&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If the module is not included in Mandrake 8.1, please let us know.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Good luck.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Kodjo&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;P.S.       <description>&lt;BR /&gt;hello,&lt;BR /&gt;i need to change a module for my nic..&lt;BR /&gt;from eepro100 to e100&lt;BR /&gt;the driver from intel site didn't work,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;instead, i want to try e100 which comes with redhat7.0 for my mandrake8.1&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;i got the redhat cds&lt;BR /&gt;how do i install the modules from the cd?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thank you..</description>
