    <description>If you haven't recompiled your default kernel, all of your modules (for everything) are still available. Once your recompile all the modules in your kernel are no longer in. Only the ones you selected. I preffer to add all my drivers into the kernel it's self instead of using modules. If this works for you... keep going.</description>

      <description>&lt;BR /&gt;i don't know how this happens&lt;BR /&gt;it just works! &lt;BR /&gt;--;&lt;BR /&gt;haha&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;i just tried modify /etc/modules.conf&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;alias eth0 e100&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;and it works ..&lt;BR /&gt;--;&lt;BR /&gt;either the driver was in mandrake8.1 dist&lt;BR /&gt;or the files i downloaded worked --;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thx anyway&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
