    <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;I agree with stuart. &lt;BR /&gt;but in the question I think it's the first case, your oracle is on your linux box.&lt;BR /&gt;Then you just have to install the client side (with odbc) on your windows system. &lt;BR /&gt;The client side is a CD delivered by oracle, or you can download it from oracle.&lt;BR /&gt;To make it works, install sqlnet (or net8) , check if it can connect to your database, and then install odbc drivers from oracle.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;regards&lt;BR /&gt;benoit</description>

      <description>Umm, does this mean you want to connect using ODBC to an Oracle database running on a Windows server from your Linux box?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Or connect to an Oracle database running on Linux using ODBC from a Windows box?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The second is the easier of the pair to do, just requiring the Windows ODBC drivers.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The latter is mroe entertaining, trying to find a set of ODBC tools for Linux, and an appropraite Oracle driver (of which I've not tried yet).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Some more information would be helpful.</description>
