    <description>If it is only the network itself that is not accessible, check the settings for that interface (netmask, ip addresses, default gateway etc).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Can you ping the eth0 interface itself?&lt;BR /&gt;Can you do a broadcast ping on the local subnet (ping -b)?</description>

      <title>Pavilion 8765C Network problem with Redhat7.0</title>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Do anybody have successfully set up the network card for Pavilion 8765C with Redhat 7.0. I used Linuxconf to set it up (eth0, rtl8139 was used. and i/o port and irq were left empty). It looks fine at booting time, and all the related files look fine too. But I cannot access the network. It says the network is not accessible. The card works fine under Windows Me and Windows 2000. &lt;BR /&gt;Any suggestions?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Bin</description>
