      <description>Shalom,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SHLIB_PATH is generally used on HP-UX systems to set a path where libraries and other important programs for software compilation and operation takes place.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It is like an execution path, but includes software libraries and such handy items.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This variable is generally not used in Linux, which uses LDLIBRARY_PATH for the same general purpose.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>
