where to download GNU_C_C++, GNU_C_C++_64, GNU_C_C++_SOURCE compilers.

Hello everyone,

we had a HP-UX 11.11 server.But it does not have the GNU_C_C++, GNU_C_C++_64, GNU_C_C++_SOURCE compilers.

can somebody provide the link where can i download all these 3 compilers.

any help appreciated.

After you get any working GCC installed, you
might wish to try building the latest source
kit. 4.3.0 worked well for me (better than
the 4.2.x versions), although you may need to
install several prerequisite GNU packages,
too (GNU "bison", "m4", and "sed", plus GMP
and MPFR, which were not needed before).

hello everyone,

thank u very much for u r quick replies.
my server OS is
HP-UX inccishh B.11.11 U 9000/800 4046719263 unlimited-user license.

actually in my server i did not have
GNU_C_C++ 4.1.1
GNU_C_C++_64 4.1.1
GNU_C_C++_SOURCE 4.1.1 compilers,which compiler version should i use to install in my server.can i use gcc-4.2.3 or gcc-4.1.2 compiler version.if it is required to use
gcc-4.1.2 compiler version ,please provide the link to download the same.

any help appreciated

Besides the Porting Center, you can also download gcc from HP:
http://www.hp.com/go/gcc

It has 4.2.1 and 4.1.2.

u can download from the site
http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/
download in u windows
do ftp in to unix server put in directory
for example /usr/local dir
then remove extension like gz
after that u can install by using swinstall -s /usr/local/fullpath
ok
