topic gcc, pthread: threadpool code issues with HP port. in Operating System - Linux

Gurus,

I'm trying to have threadpool (I downloaded the code from redhat linux site and modified to work fine). I'm using following commands:
574$ uname -a
HP-UX etna B.11.11 U 9000/800 1194414695 unlimited-user license
g++ -o s_tp_hp.exe tp.c -D_REENTRANT -lpthread

gcc version 3.4.1

same file works for solaris_x86 and solaris_sparc. As per my investigation multiple threads are blocking on call pthread_cond_wait and the mutex variable is not seem to be unlocked, due to this no progress is made.

Help is highly appreciated.

Shalom,

HP the company did not do the port. Unless you got this from software.hp.com

You may want to call your local response center and file a bug report if HP did do the port.

The porting and archive center are user contributed depot builds. Different testing standards. Not ported by HP itself.

SEP
