    <description>What are you expecting to see on stdout? With that basic scp command, the only thing I'd expect to see is any notice in /etc/issue (if sshd has the Banner paarameter defined as such). That is not displayed in stdout, however. It is displayed on stderr. So, if that's what you're aiming for, change your command to:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;scp j1 svr1:/tmp 2&amp;gt; j2</description>
