Hello everyone.
I've download BES_60_HP_64.bin, an installer for BES.
When first launching it, I was told to change
IATEMPDIR to a dir with more space or to free/increase space in /tmp
I've made a huge /temp file system and assigned IATEMPDIR to its path (compared to what's needed).
It launches, doesn't complain about not having enough space.
But I got this error :
BES Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/zerog/lax/LAX

Here is what I've found :
Igot the good display for sure
> http://support.borland.com/entry.jspa?externalID=3306&categoryID=113
-i console doesn't work (same error)

Do you have the slightest idea?

Based on the Borland notes, it would seem that you have a bug in the code that only Borland can fix. However, the comment in the first reference about DISPLAY implies that you are using Xwindows. Are you running Xwindows (an Xwindows display emulator) on your PC? Can you run xclock and see the clock on your screen. The DISPLAY variable must be set to the address of your PC with :0.0 at the end of the IP address (localhost is not meaningful unless you are installing this application on a system with a graphics display or on a HP-UX workstation).

Note that /tmp should never be used as a temp area for applications. The correct location is /var/tmp, but in your case, creating a multi-gigabyte /temp filesystem should work fine.
