      <description>Hi Jason:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You need to provide a bit more about what it is you want to achieve.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If by "script" you mean a shell script, I'd suggest 'wget' as one choice.  'wget' will download files for you.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If by "script" you mean Perl code and a Perl script, then there are a multitude of modules available to do your bidding --- collect and parse information.       <description>jason,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;as already stated look into perl and the lwp package. here is a link to a good book on using perl and lwp:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/perllwp/" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/perllwp/&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;you might google some example scripts to get an idea of how to use the package.</description>
