My big question is whether you know what HP-UX 11i Cobol compiler is compatible with Oracles ProCobol on HP-UX? Your help is appreciated.

Well, I can tell you that we have one COBOL application under 11.11 that runs against an Oracle 9i database that uses Merant COBOL and ProCOBOL. You should also know that I consider COBOL braindead but I am able to run the scripts to build this application (a legacy payroll system) and the system functions.
