    <description>There is no make_recovery (bootable restore tape, one of HPUX's most awesome features btw) for linux that I know of. However, there are many alternatives. knoppix was mentioned and it is really good. &lt;A href="http://www.sysresccd.org/" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.sysresccd.org/&lt;/A&gt; with the partimage utility is also good. knoppix also includes partimage.</description>

      <description>There is no specific utility though I believe you can purchase commercial apps that will do it.</description>
