      <description>There is a log file defined in the smb.conf file&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;find it cd to its directly&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;tail -f name_of_log&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Then attempt a connect&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You should get some helpful diagnostics.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>
