      <description>When running Glance, there are many 1-character commands that will take you to a specific measurement. Just type the ? character to see the list. The display you want is IO by Disk and can be seen by typing the letter u.&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;As far as a recommended value, queue depths might be just fine at 3 to 5 for a disk array with a very small cache (less than 500 megs) while 10 to 20 might be just fine for a big array controller with Gigabytes of cache memory. As with all performance questions, the best solution is to optimize the application and use Glance to monitor the results.</description>

      <description>See the scsictl command for scsi queue depth from the OS perspective for a device.  It's size will depend on the array and what else the array is handling.</description>
