ok here's the deal...my family uses a presario 5220, windows 98. recently we had it repaired and a new motherboard put in. now...every time we start aol, a "fatal exception" blue screen pops up...an error has been caused in "VMM", and then aol closes. this happens numerous times before we can actually log onto aol. i checked out what the vmm was, it's a virtual device driver in the windows folder, so i chose not to tinker with it. also, during online activity, all of a sudden, the navigation screen will close for no reason and when we try to bring it back up, it closes again after a few seconds or so. ALSO, the computer has a tendency to restart itself out of the blue. i have no idea what is wrong...when i try to do a defragmentation another fatal exception pops up, and even when i restart the computer manually i will get more fatal exceptions and possibly waol's if i try to log onto aol. we had problems with the computer before the motherboard replacement, but this is more than we thought. any help or insight would be appreciated.
