topic RAID and HVD10 in Disk

Hello to everyone.

IS RAID supported on a HVD10 with a single BCC?. (my host is a RP5470)

I have a new RP5470 which was factory installed with HPUX 11.0. I want to resize the filesystems to utilize the unallocated diskspace. Is there an easy way to do this? or I must re-install HPUX?.

Rgds
Don

The HVD10 is basically a JBOD (just a bunch of disks). You can use software mirroring and or stripping (raid 0, raid 1, or raid 0/1). To add extra space you can use SAM since it sounds like you aren't that familier with HPUX. Just type "sam" at the root prompt. Then use the acsii interface to go to "disks and filesystems". You can create new filesystems there and utilize your unused disks. Unfortunatly I'm a hardware guy and not a software guru.
