Install and Configure A5856A raid card

Hello,

Hell I have just received an A5856A ( RAID 4Si, PCI 4 port Ultra2 SCSI RAID ) card.

Does anyone have any tips on installation and configuration of this card?

Hi Richard,
I have the same question since there was no message like "new hardware found".
I have connected a DS2300 with 5 disks to HPUX11.00 on a RP5430. It came without software. How can I get it configured with RAID-5 ?

I only know it needs software called like IRM (raid manager?) for management. Hope it helps.
As I remember all card channels are SCSI Id7 thus you can connect JBOD only in split bus mode
