what is a fixed disk.
and how do i ,make one.

Hi,
Can you please give more details, where have you haead about "fixed disk".

Somtimes fixed disks means ordinary hard drives in opposition to removable disks (floppys and cd/dwd).

I'v got an old prosignia 300.
and i try to install the sytem partition.

but the comp says there are not enough rom on the fixed disk. and then blablabla.

I have fdiskt it so it is empty i have done 2 partitions and so forth. but nothing helps.

Hi,

What are you trying to install (Windows XXX)?
And how big is the disk you install on. Perhaps the disk is not big enough.

no op i not the matter. the disk is 2gb and i chall have w2000 on it later.

but the system operation chall i install on the empty disk. but there is not enough space. he tell me to uninstall the op that not exist. and make a new partition on it.

Thank. I have solved the problem. The system partition had do bee installed on a not fomated disk.
