A5596A firmware

Please can anyone advise on the latest f/w for these discs, as I have 16 of these in 2 FC10's and they all have different f/w versions. We would like to have them all the same

Try ITRC..patches..individual patches..firmware..disk searching for disk inquiry string (ie ST....)

Thanks Eugeny, I have had a look there but could not find any references to the general firmware issues on these drive. I was relying on you to come up with a magic answer that i had not been able to lcate

Then post inquiry strings of all disks here (or attach 'ioscan -fn', it will contain this info) and I will try to find out if you need to do anything

Hi Eugeny, thanks for getting back I will try and attach the mstm info for each of the 16 discs

Firmwares seem not to be available on the external web site and looks like upgrades should be done by HP engineers at agreeable time. As I understand it's recommended to have disks with latest firmware

Hi Eugeny, you seem to have arrived at the same solution as me,i.e. get an HP engineer to do the upgrade
