Sata Hard Drive HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a Presario 6400nx and I recently both a Serial ATA hard Drive 200gb and the SATA/150 PCI Card, I tried to install the pci into my computer and no problem but the computer does not recognize the hard drive.

My question is if this computer is compatible with this hard drive or if this computer support this hard drive.

You may need to disable one or both of the onboard IDE controllers, and/or specify the SATA card as the primary boot device.
