      <description>Have you re-boot the server?  If so, and the light is still constant you should run the Server Diagnostics or ACU to make sure the controller can see the drive at boot.&lt;BR /&gt;It could be trouble at the backplane or just a flaky drive.&lt;BR /&gt;Let us know what happens?</description>

      <description>IO issue or bad drive, first system should see the Hardware component then you can work at the volume level. &lt;BR /&gt;Some details are missing, are runing HP-UX ? was the disk part of a volume group .. is it part of a DiskArray of some sort ?</description>
