      <description>When your hard drive starts making irregular noises, it's on it's way out. Start backing up your data from that disk (slave to another PC if possible). &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You may be able to find a diagnostics program from the hard disk manufacturer's web site to test your disk. (You could even boot to a win98 CD if you have one. One of the first things it will do is scandisk - you don't actually have to proceed with the install)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Good Luck</description>
