topic How to measure raw disk performance under Windows? in Disk

Hi All,

Does anyone know of a tool that measures read/write performance of a raw disk under Windows, i.e. which bypasses the filesystem? I guess I am looking for an equivalent of dd or cpio or lmdd in Linux for Windows?

I know of HP PAT tools but as far as I know it checks the disk read/write performance testing via the file system.

Any inputs on IOMeter?

Regards,

Iometer works well, i've used it in several occasions to make comparisons between systems. You can write them to iometer@intel.com

jmc
