    <description>I do not know the workstation in question, but may give some suggestions:&lt;BR /&gt;-in the bios of the Workstation check if you have a "boot device"option, (different than the boot priority) several chipset have this option, you can chose between added controller or integrated one.&lt;BR /&gt;-Check in the documentation the priority of each slots, you may have inserted the array controller on a slot with higher priority then the internal controller, changing slot will change priority.&lt;BR /&gt;-try to perform a clear cmos, some time, old informations can prevent the machine to boot from some devices&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;marino&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <title>Multiple SCSI Controller Boot Order Problem</title>

      <description>I've got a Compaq W8000 Workstation running Windows 2000 Server. The built in SCSI controller is the boot partition. I've added a Compaq Smart Array 221 SCSI RAID Controller into a PCI slot. I had everything working fine until a reboot. Now everytime I try to boot it defaults to the RAID controller and gives me the non-system disk error. I've gone through the RBSU but it doesn't seem to provide me any useful options.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If this were a normal controller I would expect I could simply disable the BIOS, but if there is a way to do so I haven't discovered it yet.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I need to boot off the built-in SCSI controller. How? &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Also, this isn't the first time this has happened. Why does the system suddenly decide to change the boot order?</description>
