      <title>Disk to use for L1000</title>

      <description>All the recommended internal disks (18GB, 36GB, 73GB) for L1000 are no longer supplied but I found the internal 15krpm ultra320 disks(36GB, 73GB)rp54x0 are available. Will it fit in and work in L1000 disk slots?</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Ultra 320 is backward compatible with earlier SCSI standards (except for HVD) so, technicaly it will work. I belive you must use some kind of mounting kit for the L1000.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have used 15K U320 drives in A-class servers without any problem.</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It works fine.&lt;BR /&gt;It is backwards compabile.&lt;BR /&gt;You just need the good brackets</description>
