In the DS2300 there is existing 8 x 36GB harddisk, which is configure to raid 1 + 0. I added additional 6 x 36GB harddisk and I wanted top create new array of raid 1+ 0. But to my surprise I found out that when I try to configure the raid level it doesn't have a riad 1 + 0 selection at all . Instead I can only select raid 0, raid 3 and raid 5. Can someone advice how can raid 1 + 0 be configure on the 6 disk. Please advice with steps??<BR /><BR />Next,<BR /> I have gone through the firmware on the 8 disk and in rev. HP02 But, the 6 x 36GB new disk added is in rev. HP00. Can somone advice if there is an impact on the storage as after I put in the disk, my vg01 disappear . I have to do a reboot to get the vg01 back online.
