Hi! I'd like to upgrade these ST336704LC disks to firmware HP04. I've got the correct file (PF_DSEACH3HP04.frm) and I've read "Document ID pamAC200204121" (Disk Firmware Revision HP04 Resolves Disks Going Offline) but it lacks clear and detailed information about setting up the TFTP server and the correct "boot ... " string I must enter...
Could you please help me setting up the TFTP server and entering the correct boot string?

Thanks a lot!

Jose
It might have been damged when you downloaded the firmware file.
I will try to download again and if that does not work, in the download process, you can download a bundle of disk firmware to a tape, boot from the tape and it will automaticly upgrade all disks that are on the system. that option is less sensetive as the STM optin.

T
