Upgrading "split bus" SC10.

We have two separate servers connected to a "split bus" SC10, each connected to 5x disks.
Can anyone tell me if it is ok to shut down one server (the SC10 still powered on), & swap the 5x SC10 disks on that server?
The other server would still be accessing the 5 disks in the other half of the SC10. Is it possible that the running server would be interupted (even if the SC10 is configured "split bus")?

Because of the spli bus, this should work fine.

Be aware that the disks are split into odd and even slots.
