After replacing the failed 36 GB HD in an SC10 with a good tested disk I'm getting a Flt--35 error from stm. After the disk was replaced the LUN went into rebuild mode but then failed. The replacement disk was tested prior to replacement.

From amdsp : (for the failed disk)

SCSI Channel:ID        = 2:1
Enclosure              = 0
Slot (0-based)         = 2
Disk State             = NO RESPONSE
Disk Group and Type = 067E8800104BD072A3 LUN
Capacity               = 0.0 GB
Manufacturer and Model = NO_VENDOR NO_MODEL
Serial Number          = NO_SERIAL_NUM
Firmware Revision      = NO_FW_REV

Does this mean that the slot in the SC10 is bad ? Does anyone know what Flt--35 means ?

It is possible that the slot is bad. The fact that no information for the disk is showing up not a good sign. Do you have another disk you can try?

I don't have another disk to try with yet.

Yes the SC10 is part of an FC60.
There are two other SC10's in the array and they appear to be working fine.

I replaced the drive again and it's now in rebuild mode. Not quite sure if the new drive was having issues or if the slot is having issues. I will close the ticket if the rebuild is successful or post the amdsp -a report if it is not. Should know in an hour or two.

Turns out the replacement drive must have been bad. The rebuild worked.

Thanks to those who took the time to respond.
