What I meant, which you answered, was are any other hp model's compatible with that particular unit. I had spoken to the HP rep that came to fix our array (didn't have enough drive space to hotfix itself) and he stated that HP did not sell the drives anymore. That's why I've been looking on google and yahoo.

I'm trying to find some compatible drive modules for the A3700A. The drives that are in the unit right now have the part number of A3714-69002, but I can't find anyplace on google or yahoo that sell that particular model.

Are the A3714-60050 drives compatible? Or does anyone know where I can pick up the 69002 for cheaper than $2900?

Price and availability depends on your location. I do not recommend to install non-HP disks. Simply because they will not have HP firmware and 12h may not include them in disk set. Although sometimes I notice disk arrays with non-HP disks and they work. But remember: in case of problems the first HP will say: 'you have unsupported disk in your disk array'.
Disk you've mentioned is 18GB 10K one, alternate part numbers are A3714-60001, A3714-69001, A3714-69002. All disks with these 3 part numbers are ok for your 12h
Eugeny

You should be able to find tons of replacement disk modules for your 12H on the used equipment market. I'll give you two places to start that I have used: www.genisyscorp.com www.pmount.com --- but there are many others.
