Onion_Quest,
This did the trick. Earlier, I went in the AC but must have overlooked that part each time.

Thanks a lot.

We've had some problems with hard drives and a SA-221 controller, so we switsched hard drives and controllers between two servers.
If I use the Compaq Management agents I see the second logical drive Accelerator is disabled. Is this normal? Is there a solution (without data loss or the need to reinstall?).

Logical Drive 1 - Mirroring
Status: OK
Fault Tolerance: Mirroring Total: 10 /sec
Capacity: 17363 MB Reads: 0 /sec
Percent Rebuild Complete: Not Available
Writes: 10 /sec
Accelerator: Enabled Sectors Read: 0 /sec
Stripe Size: 128 Sectors Written: 80 /sec

Logical Drive 2 - Mirroring
Status: OK
Fault Tolerance: Mirroring Total: 3 /sec
Capacity: 8673 MB Reads: 0 /sec
Percent Rebuild Complete: Not Available
Writes: 3 /sec
Accelerator: Disabled Sectors Read: 6 /sec
Stripe Size: 128 Sectors Written: 33 /sec

If you go into the acu (array config utility) and are viewing the drives logically, you should be able to select the logical drive (show up as purple) and select modify under logical drive menu on the left. here you can enable or diable the array accelerator.
