When I run amdsp -i it says :
amdsp: The entered does not identify a known, supported array.

Hi Givi,

Can you see the hardware with ioscan -fn ?
Do you have device files installed ( insf -e)

So you can see the FC60 in ioscan.

Run "amsdp -R" to rediscover the FC60.

Hello

Can you try -R option which does the following?

Rescan for disk arrays. The host will scan for all supported disk arrays and update the current list. This may be useful if a new disk array has been added but does not yet show up in the disk array list returned by the -i option.

You have 2 reason for this situation:

1. Check on you server procces
/opt/hparray/bin/AM60Srvr. This procces must run. if it run stop it and start againe
and then use amdsp -R

2. if you appgrade firmware on you fc60, and not pach hp-ux you can have this problem.
