Any suggestions on how to get two Windows 2000 servers to access a single LUN for Read only while a third server has both Read and Write privs on the same LUN.!!

Thanks

I don't think w2k is capable of sharing a lun. To my understanding windows 'claims' the disks it sees (unwilling to share it). So you could share the volume with w2k-sharing to the other servers with only read permissions.
Or you could create two bussiness copies (who are read only by default) and assign those to the read-only servers (which means you have to keep those copies in sync all the time...)
Secure Manager only controls the availability of a disk to a system, if you assign a disk to a WWn of a system it get's full control. (within Unix you have the possibility to mount a volume with read only...)

Regards,

Mark

If you have Business Copy, it may solve the problem. The P vol is connected to the third W2K server. Issuing a spilt whit read only on ths S vol, you have a rad only disk.
Keep in mind that changes on the P vol wont't affect the S vol until they are sync again.
