Hi,

I have a question about the EVA that I cant answer from the manuals. What is the port that one connects to on the management appliance to start the management interface?

It used to be port 2301 with the version 1 Appliance. Now with version 3.010 we just hit the main address. Login. Open Device > Command View EVA.

Mike is right. The port is usually 2301 unless you customise it for some reason.

Just use the IP address of the management appliance and you will be challenged with a username and password to connect. It will take you to the right URL by itself.

example: http://192.168.23.30

Port 2301 is still used by the system management agents. These days it is redirecting you to a https port (2381). After you have logged in, there is even a link to the SMA, but it will now redirect you to port 80 where you have to login one more time (nice journey , eh? ;-).
