Hi,

1)I guess your DeviceDBFile is corrupted. Try removing the file first, then run 'armdiscover' again.

2)There is a array startup script in /sbin/init.d/ location, but I forget the exact file ( ./arraymgr or./sanarray??). You have to find the file, I was able to overcome the same situation by stoping-starting that service from /sbin/init.d/????.

3)Lastly, you can reboot the machine and see whether armdsp can see the array.

regards,
Richard

Hi,

DeviceDBFile - removed and tried.
Rebooted several times!!
ps -ef | grep dial doesn't list diald.
When ever I try to start diald a core file
created /opt/sanmgr/hostagent/sbin

Any other clue?

Thanks and Regards

TT

Can you check /etc/rc.log file if hostagent started successfully.

Regarding the core file, you can debug it by q4 utility by yourself or send it to HP for analyzing it.

regards,
Richard
