topic DS2300 in Disk Enclosures

I have a server rp5470 and hp disk system 2300. As I can verify that the LUN created this in Raid 5 from the server.

Hi,

Disk System 2300 is a JBOD so creation of LUN is not supported.

You can only use RAID via S/W, such as Veritas volume manager, or H/W, such as RAID card.

BTW, ds2300 is a JBOD (just a bunch of disk) enclosure. It does not support RAID technology.

I have connected a "RAID 4Si, PCI 4 port Ultra2 SCSI RAID".
Using the card there is form to know that type of Raid has been configured the LUN?
