Sure - install the second controller in the slot right next to the original 4250ES, run setup and then load the redundancy driver from the NT 4.0 SSD:

NT 4.0 SSD

I recently setup a Proliant 8000 using a 4250es controller.
There are 7 -18gb drives total. Array A consists of 3 -18gb drives using RAID 5. Array B consists of 3 -18gb drives with a 4th used as an on-line spare.

My question is as follows. Can I add a second 4250es
controller for redundancy without erasing the current configuration?
If so, what steps do I need to take?
