smart array 6400 / 10 Disks raid 0+1 / cannot add Sparedrive

Hi,

i created a array with 10 hardisks with the same size. I created a logical drive raid 0+1 with all the harddisk in this array.

now i want to add another harddisk to this array as a spare drive but i cant choose the point "add spare" when i click on the harddisk.

i cant choose nothing on the right side of the acu. there no point to click :(

Rene,

Is the hard drive that you added for the hotspare equal to or is greater in size than your original 10 hard drives? If it is, you should be able to add it to your array. Highlight your array and then choose spare management to add the hard drive.

Otherwise a screenshot of what you are seeing in the ACU may help us.
