VA7400 Firmware

I am looking at updateing the firmware my self.

I've checked the Firmware database but don't see it listed for the VA7400.

Am I looking in the wrong place?

This firmware is not downloadable.
Only HP has this firmware.
If you have a support contract, HP will do it for you

Docs and Software for VA7400, You can get its at:

If you want update FW for disks, Controller, you must search FW for them, do not search for VA7400.
Can you tell me what FW do you need ?

just trying to bring a few up to current firmware. I know its A120 on the 7410 not sure on the 7400.

We tried letting the pro's upgrade it, and after 3 hours and a huge bill, I ended up with an upgraded 7410, and 5 2405's with mixed firmware on the lcc's and drives. Took me the better part of the night to fix, I wont make that mistake again.

VA7410 and VA7400 differ in controller only.
If FW you need is Controller FW you should consider. You use armdsp to check ProductID of disk, controller you use.
#armdsp -c ARRAY_ID

and then find FW for them.
If it is imppossible to get new FW, you should contact HP service.
I also have some FW for disk, If matched. I will sent it to U.
