topic replace 12H disk arrays in Disk Enclosures

We are looking at replacing 2 12H disk arrays loaded with 18 GB HD. One of the solutions proposed was a SAN. Another is the 2405 disk array.
Budget is tight so i am leaning towards the 2405 (cost). Any items to watch for or any other solutions we should consider ??

We are running an Oracle 9i DB with the Baan application on a N4000 with 2 CPU and 8 gig of ram.

Thanks..
