    <description>Hi &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Controller will have a fail LED .&lt;BR /&gt;See if its glowing . &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If LED is lit then you have to call HP support.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks,&lt;BR /&gt;BL.</description>

      <description>We were instructed to remove a RP7410 off EMC Symmetrix storage, and what we had available for replacement was an HP FC10 730 GB storage unit.  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Now we're getting a daily email from EMS as follows, but if you go into xstm the log report is not showing any errors so the controller/s is not actually producing any errors although EMS is reporting an error. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Has anyone seen this before?       <description>To possibilities that I can see.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1) There actually is a hardware flaw on the array.&lt;BR /&gt;2) There is no LUN0 assigned on the array and the disk array itself is being misdectected as a disk. Since its not a disk, it has disk errors.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Solutions:&lt;BR /&gt;1) Resolve the hardware issue(not likely there is one)&lt;BR /&gt;2) Assign a LUN on the array to LUN0&lt;BR /&gt;3) Ignore the error, if I'm right its not serious.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>

      <description>Right, the email is a nuisance, and XSTM is not reporting any errors on either of the controllers for the HP FC10.
