    <description>Very likely, the system will not see the increased size, because, as far as I know, the EVA does not signal a size change to the host.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You don't say what operating system you are using, but the safest way would be to reboot the system during which it will make a new inquiry.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Then it depends on your software if and how you can make use of the increased size. Hopefuly, this will not make any existing data unavailable...</description>

      <description>I am not aware of any documentation how to treat raw volumes (is this for databases?), but have you already tried an IOSCAN?</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can use the Lun of 200 GB for raw access&lt;BR /&gt;You can not extend a LUN under HPUX.&lt;BR /&gt;Solution : create an extra LUN of 200 GB and add it to your volumegroup.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Lun's can be added online to hpux.&lt;BR /&gt;Use the follownig command's after the presentation of the LUN&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ioscan -fnC disk&lt;BR /&gt;insf -e&lt;BR /&gt;ioscan -funC disk (to see the device file)</description>
