Paul
I found mention of this utility in a June 1996 White paper and continued distribution on later documents. I will try to find the utility for you.
Further information would be useful, i.e. server model, firm ware, OS, network topology, array controller firmware etc.
I will continue to attempt locating this resource for you!
Mark

We are observing consistent communication time-outs which are occurring on an hourly basis. Based on the available information and analysis so far, we are concerned that the array controller is executing some type of self diagnostic (automatic drive monitoring and performance functions) every hour ... and this is impacting the system resources enough to affect our application processes which result in communication time-outs and significant response times for data interrogation (normal 10 milliseconds ... to 13000 milliseconds).

You have documented that numerous customers are using a utility "MPDELAY.EXE" to resolve such issues. Please advise.
