    <description>Well, the controller will do it for you automatically.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You select an equal number of disk drives from both busses and create a disk drive array. Then you create a logical disk. It's been some time since a worked with the ACU, but I think they still call it RAID-1. However, the SmartArray controller recognizes if more than two disks are involved and he will put mirrors on disks in different enclosures and then stripe along the mirrors.</description>

      <description>There is no DOC attached, but you need an operating system-based RAID-1 to mirror between two SA6404 and even the SA6404-base / EM.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can also connect two SCSI busses to a SA6404-base or EM and run a pure controller-based RAID 0/1 combination.</description>

      <description>Hi Again..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;can you explain how i can connect two SCSI busses to a SA6404-base or EM and run a pure controller-based RAID 0/1 combination. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The setup I am trying to do is:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1 channel to 1 x msa30 = raid 0&lt;BR /&gt;2nd channel to the 2nd msa30 = raid 0&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;then finally take both msa30's and create 1 raid 1.</description>
