I had him switch the drive cages around to see if it followed the cage and the problem went away. Two drives in the top cage (Port 3, ID 0 and ID 1) lost their LED lights, but otherwise operated normally. Its a Raid 1 set with the OS and the machine has no other problems. When I use the ACU utility, the LEDs don't light up on this Array, but it does on the other two Arrays (in Ports 2 and 1). <BR />I fixed this by booting to SmartStart and running ACU from there. After a boot, the LEDs lit up. The only other info I can find out is from the ADU. Within the report on each array, I noticed that the two "Good" arrays had the line: <BR /> Inquiry Data Valid: Yes <BR />and the "Bad" array had <BR /> Inquiry Data Valid: No <BR />After the fix, the array changed to Yes. <BR /> <BR />I happy its working, but as I'm just deploying this as an Exchange server, I have some misgivings. Can anyone shed some light or know what this "Inquiry Data Valid" field means?
