      <description>me and my boss can not find a way to just destroy all of the data on a drive, we have been experimenting with the installation of true64 unix because he has to go and install it on another companies server next week, and we cannot find a way to just destroy all of the data once we get done with it.  the destroy command is completely screwed up for us, and we cant get it to do anything, please help&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thanks in advance</description>

      <description>Use the delete unit, delete raidset/mirrorset commands at the HSZ prompt.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Or you can use the initialize command.</description>

      <description>Deleting the unit and then deleting the raidset/mirrorset/jbod will NOT erase the disks.  I suggest you use the disk exerciser to destroy the data on the disk.  We haven't had a HSZ70 here for awhile but I thing the program is called dilx.  At the console type 'dir' and you should see it.  Run dilx and answer the prompts.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Vic</description>
