Hi I have a smart array controller installed in HPUX system running HPUX 11.11 , my question is .

Can I use a single disk to be a spare for all the six LUN that I have presebted to the system.
I have six mirror.

What do you mean by "six mirror" ???

You can't assign a single spare drive to all those LUNs ( Logical Drive , to be specific )

Remember when you create a spare drive , you always associate it with a Logical Drive.
Hence you can't have a Universal Spare Drive
on this smart array.
