DS2405 disk spikes. Kernel parameter etc. set wrong?

I am getting huge spikes every 80 seconds. I moved this database from an L-Class box to a RP3440 with a DS2405. Overall CPU usage etc. is 50% lower than on the L2000. But I see these huge spikes on the disks that I never saw before. Same number of disks, same layout, same application.

Is there an kernel parm that could be causing this?

hi ray,

not sure if this will help or not, but you could try and up the default time out of the pv's
check what there set to the default is 0 which =30seconds
with arrays or disks with high usuage its usaully good practice to up this to 120 or so
change with #pvchange -t

check the man pages for pvchange
